Step Showdown is a private step-challenge app for iPhone and Apple Watch. This policy explains what the app accesses and how it is used.
With your permission, Step Showdown reads your step count from Apple Health. It reads step count only. It does not read heart rate, workouts, sleep, calories, or location. Your step totals for a challenge are shared only with the people in challenges you join, so they can see the leaderboard. Health data is never sold and is never used for advertising.
Your profile, challenges, friends, and step totals are stored in your iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. Apple manages this storage. The developer cannot read your Apple ID password or your full Health database.
Subscriptions and the Founder Pass are processed by Apple. Step Showdown does not receive or store your payment details.
You can remove your profile and shared name from within the app under Settings, "Disconnect My Data." To request full deletion of challenge records, contact support@stepshowdown.app.
Step Showdown is not directed to children under 13.
